Engineer Moradi, who, with his commitment and expertise for many years, has now been replaced by Dr. Mahdi Baloo, the new CEO.
Mr. Baloo, born in Amol, educated in Mechanical Engineering in Tehran’s Amirkabir University.
He began his career at the Iran Khodro Motor Research Centre (IPCO) as an expert on Combustion Fuel Systems in 2006. At the same time, with the experience of the country’s largest EngineResearch Centre, he continued his academic education. After completing his studies at the University of Michigan, he returned to Iran and after obtaining a doctorate in the field of Advanced Combustion, he continued his career at IPCO/IKCO as the Head of the Engineering Department.
Later he moved to Iran Khodro Diesel (IKD) for Commercial vehicle Production. During this period, he played a central role in several Key Projects such as the Development of the Electric Bus and a few models of Heavy and Light Duty Trucks.
During his tenure at IKD, he created the first Commercial Car Innovation Centere enabling him to have efficient collaboration with Knowledge Based Companies and Universities.
He has now joined Shetab Company with his substantial expertise in both Engineering and the Management of Commercial Vehicle Development and Production.
With the arrival of Dr. Baloo, Shetab is ready to Conquer Iran’s Roads with Smart, Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Electric Buses and paving the way for Regional Exports.
